TASTINGS AT ESTERS
What's Upcoming At Esters
Sunday Tasting – Garber & Co’s Jeremy Meyer
We’re excited to welcome back our friend, Jeremy Meyer, for this Sunday’s Tasting. As a partner and importer at Garber & Co, he introduces us to so many incredible, independent producers from Central and South America, Europe, Australia and the United States. He’ll be pouring French and Italian wines from his portfolio!
The line-up includes:
- Perle de ma Mere “La Perle” Brut, Burgundy, France NV (Magnum)
- Camille et Laurent Schaller Chablis, France 2017
- Pasini San Giovanni Chiaretto Rosato, Veneto, Italy 2018
- Domaine Mas des Caprices Rouge ‘R.A.S.’ Corbiéres, France 2018
- Domaine des Ronces Pinot Noir, Jura, France 2016
Sunday Tasting – Gluggable Wines – Summer Edition
We’re reviving this popular theme because it’s summertime. And we’re all about drinking those crushable wines that go down easy! In other words, the “Patio Pounders.”
Guest Chef Burger Night – Tallula’s Saw Naing
Saw Naing has been at Tallula’s since day one, rising from Sous Chef to Executive Chef at the family’s beachside, Mexican restaurant. His passion for Latin American cuisine and tropical flavors shines through in his farmers’ market-driven fare and commitment to making everything in-house, from the masa in the fresh tortillas to all the salsas and moles. His Bone Marrow Burger features Oaxacan cheese, mole aioli, little gem hearts, epazote cucumber pickles, grilled pineapple and jalapeño.
Guest Chef Burger Night – Birdie G’s Brittany Cassidy
Brittany Cassidy will be coming hot off the heels of the restaurant group’s newest debut – Birdie G’s. She’s been working alongside Jeremy Fox since March 2013, when she joined the Rustic Canyon team as a line cook. She was promoted three times during her tenure, earned Zagat’s “30 Under 30,” and cooked at the James Beard House twice. She’s now leading the culinary team as Chef de Cuisine at Birdie G’s, so the Esters crew is delighted she’s popping in for a night to cook up a Patty Melt with toasted sourdough, caramelized onions, onion mayonnaise, pickled banana peppers, fresh tomato and melted cheese.
