Calendar

It’s poppin’! There’s always something fun happening in our wine shop & bar, so you can explore new wines or learn a lil’ something.

Sunday Tastings are 12-9 p.m., with new themes every week, curated by Sommelier Randall Middleton.  Enjoy a flight for $25/person, which includes a mini cheese pairing and link to a video of our team telling stories about the wine.  Plus, enjoy 10% off in the shop for bottles featured in that day’s line-up.

Monday Cellar Nights are 4-10 p.m. and are a really cool way to try a glass of something rare or fancy from our high-end collection, without committing to the whole bottle. We’ve popped open luxurious Champagnes, baller Burgundies, small allocations from top California winemakers and more.

Read on for more details of our upcoming schedule. Want to be in the know? Sign up for our weekly e-blast (scroll down) or follow us on Instagram for future tasting announcements

Sunday Tasting: It’s harvest time, let’s focus on farming!

As grape growers across the Northern hemisphere start to time their harvests to get the best possible fruit into next year’s wines, let’s have a tasting dedicated to some of our favorite farmers!
Today’s lineup features four labels that are using biodynamic and regenerative practices to grow their grapes, focusing on healthy grapes now, and healthy, diverse ecosystems in the future!
This will be available all day as a flight of four with a small regeneratively farmed snack  for $30.
All Sunday tasting wines receive a 10% Discount for retail purchase.

Marie Courtin, ‘Le Blanc du Tremble’ Coteaux Champenois, France 2019 $33
Following on our Sunday tasting highlighting biodynamic farmers, we have a fantastic, biodynamically farmed still white wine from small but mighty champagne estate Marie Courtin. Founded in 2005 by Dominique Moreau (she named it after her grandmother), Marie Courtin focuses exclusively on estate grown, biodynamically farmed vintage champagnes from the southern champagne sub appellation of Cotes des Bars, closer to Chablis than to the rest of champagne. The champagnes are known for their depth and precision and are worth seeking out, but here we have a doubly rare bird- a white wine made entirely from pinot noir, and still wine from champagne vineyards. The wine, fermented in sandstone and clay amphorae and with no sulfur additions whatsoever, offers soft and ripe stonefruit on the nose, with a fine, chiseled palate and a mineral, saline finish.
